Just For You

Back in January I was lucky enough to perform with Kingsley Oldmeadows, his Dad Fenton Wilde and Mark Gale in Wongan Hills, Western Australia. Together with a couple of covers, we played one of my original songs ... Just For You. Even though we had never rehearsed it, I was pretty happy with the vibe and the crowd loved it. Kingsley asked if I wanted to record it at his "Honeypot Studio" in Wongan Hills. I had already done a rough mix in my own Stem Studios, but my desk skills are limited so, after a few months had passed I decided to call him and set up a date. Kingsley has drummed for Human Nature and Dami Im (so he knows his way around the skins) ... and his Dad Fenton ... well let's say he is a West Australian legend guitarist from his days in The Jets. To my excitement, they both agreed to play on the song. I'll be heading up there very shortly to put down the vocals, harmonies and 12 string guitar. I've already heard the tracks they have put down  - and I'm excited. I can't wait to get over this head cold /flu thing I've had and we can get this song over the line.  Stay tuned folks ...  I promise to throw everything at it!
