I was asked into the studios of Bunbury 103.7 (FM radio), for a live interview for the launch of Deja vu on October 13th 2023. Geoff MacNish and I spoke about the inspiration for the song, how it was recorded and mixed and, the great opportunities artists have living in beautiful Bunbury and our South West.  Click on the file above for a listen ... they did play Deja vu but the song itself was edited out (file size too big).

I completed recording Just For You on 26th September 2023 in Kingsley Oldmeadow's Honeypot Studios in Wongan Hills, Western Australia. It was a great thrill for me to be able to record with Kingsley (drummer for Dami Im, Human Nature) and his father Fenton (The Jets) playing slide guitar. Playing 12 string guitar and singing lead vocals / harmonies, I wrote the song for my wife Glen after she convinced me I should take my musical passion seriously and actually do something about it!  The song was written (but not recorded) before Autumn Day ... it just took me a while to get it over the line. Deja vu (released October 13th 2023) ... is polar opposite (in style) to Autumn Day. Deja vu is a straight up rock/pop song, perfect for dancing around the kitchen with a glass of wine, while cooking up a magnificent meal. Autumn Day (a ballad), was written for piano and is a deep, lyrically reflective song, better listened to at the end of the party when you are winding down ... exhausted. Both songs are available on all major streaming platforms.
